"It's always a popular race, starting/finishing alongside the village pond, with the course running along quiet North Yorkshire country roads and has sold out in recent years. The course is reasonably flat and all levels of runner are encouraged to join the race." "The course goes out of the village in the direction of Flawith, before turning towards Myton-on-Swale - the quiet countryside and roads continue on the way back to Tholthorpe - it is downhill in the last 200 yards to the finish on the Village Green by the duck pond." "The Cartmel Trail Races take you on off-road journeys through some of the most scenic and varied countryside in the Lake District, along a 'Beauty and Beast' of a course. "Starting at the beautiful Scarborough Spa Complex (SPA), the 10K routes round South Bay, past the harbour, round the headland and into North Bay. You get to run through the Open Air Theatre and out to the Sea Life Center. It's then back along the coast road all the way back to the SPA.
